York Visitor Guide 2012

Printed in October, 110,000 copies of the 2012 Guide will be distributed throughout the UK via Tourist Information Centres, VisitBritain offices, exhibitions and direct mail. The Guide will also be available as an e-brochure accessible via www.visityork.org  which welcomes around 2.6 million users each year.

Research carried out shows that 42% of people who received a copy of the Guide went on to visit the city whilst a further 30% plan to visit in the future. Over 70% of those questioned who booked their accommodation online used the York Visitor Guide to find and search accommodation websites. Figures which clearly indicate the value and influence of this guide.

Restaurants advertising in this guide automatically receive a free entry in York's ‘Restaurants, Bistros and Cafes' leaflet. 40,000 copies are printed and distributed through York's Visitor Information Centre, B&Bs, Guest Houses, self catering properties and camp sites.
