Summer

As the weather improves take advantage of the great outdoors, get your team working together at the North of England Activity Centre with Giant Skis, Raft Building, Human Sheep or Blindfold Driving!

Or rather than sitting inside for your conference reception enjoy a barbecue at the Hospitium a beautiful medieval timbered building in the Museum Gardens. For something more sedate try an evening cruise along the River Ouse, where you and your delegates can enjoy drinks & canapes or a full buffet. What could be more relaxing after a hard day of meetings than to watch the world slip by whilst sipping a cold glass of Champagne?

Sandburn Hall located just outside York in 1000 acres of lakes & woodlands represents the best of both worlds. The Grand Function Room, which can seat up to 180 theatre style, boasts a magnificent oak frame with a impressive picture window which overlooks a championship golf course, so an informative morning meeting can be followed by a quick round in the afternoon! Other activites including archery and clay pigeon shooting can be arranged for those non golfers.
